Barchester Tower is situated in St.Leonards on Sea. The home is full of Victorian charm and character, set in 2/3 thirds of an acre of secluded gardens.

We have been providing high standards of care for over 24 years and can accommodate 20 residents, offering 5 shared rooms and 12 singles. We welcome married couples who need support in their daily lives, people living in East Sussex and those who have a family in this area.

Our aims
Our aims here at Barchester, where caring counts are:
To provide a homely environment where service users can relax and enjoy their later years with as much independence and dignity as possible
To supply an ongoing care regime by initially drawing up a care plan to suit the service users needs and then making regular assessments to ensure that these needs are being met
To give help in intimate situations as discreetly as possible and to ensure that residents are able to be alone as and when necessary
To treat each resident as a very special and valued individual and ensure that they are always dressed well and that their appearance is how they would like it to be.
To provide activities according to the residents capabilities
To provide good fresh food and assist at mealtimes when necessary
To provide safety by providing locks on residents’ doors, where appropriate.
To ensure that staff are committed to learning and development
Employ a full contingency of care and ancillary staff to ensure our residents are well cared for at all the time
To provide a helping hand and a friendly face whenever necessary
